Coming Up with the RIGHT color "Pink"

Ever wonder what the actual color of the "Pink Mustang" is? Truthfully, it's not really "Pink" at all. According to the Chrysler Group (you read that right, it's a Dodge color), it's considered "bright purple." In 2010, Dodge unveiled a Dodge Challenger that was Furious Fuchsia at a Chicago Auto Show (celebrating 40 years of the well known Challenger) but had released photos before that. I can tell you from first hand experience, the Camera just doesn't like the color. It some pictures it come out red and others come out pink.
According to the CNNMoney, the Furious Fuchsia came available on the V8-Powered R/T and SRT-8 Versions and had a target audience of Males that wanted a Performance and Bold Image. The SRT-8 Furious Fuchsia Models came with White Interior as standard but were optional on R/T models. But apparently, this isn't the first time Dodge has stepped out of their comfort zone. They also have colors like Top Banana, Sublime, Plume Purple, and Go Mango. Dodge describes the new Fuchsia color and an updated version of Panther Pink and Moulin Rouge (1970 colors). There were only 400 of the SRT-8 Challengers made and a limited number of Chargers were made (production numbers listed below).
After doing some research, I found a couple of sites (Challenger Forumz and Challenger Talk) that may have the "official" numbers produced and the location they were produced. According to these sites, only 1,287 Furious Fuchsia vehicles were made for the US Market, and 240 for Canada, bring the total to 1,527 cars produced. Production times ran from August 2010-September 2010 as 2010MY vehicles. In the US, 242 were made in the Southwest, 198 in the Southeast, 171 in the West, 165 in the Great Lakes, 164 in Mid-Alantic, 130 in Midwest, 122 in Denver, and 95 in Northeast (totaling 1,287 in the US). Out of the 1,527 Furious Fuchsia cars made, there were only 1,000 R/T Classic (742 with a white strip, 258 with a black strip) and 287 SRT-8s. 834 were Automatics and 444 were Manuel cars. 810 had Sunroofs. The R/T
My car is a Furious Fuchsia with Metallic Silver as the base coat, bringing out a more Pink color. It was custom painted in the beginning of 2016. The initial color was supposed to be a color close to Molly Pop (after Molly Saleen's Pink Saleen Mustang) but we could not get a response from Molly about the color (which, in my opinion, is completely understandable). Molly has the only car that has been painted Molly Pop, a color that was specifically created for her and her car.
In the beginning, I did not want pink. I personally thought the pink would look tacky, and let's all be honest, the first thing that comes to mind when you think of any Pink Car results in a cringed face that's not hard to hide (trust me, I still think like that some times). Every time I tell someone to "look for a Pink Car" I always finish with "you just have to see it first." But, pink is my favorite color. No other color was standing out. People had already done that or it wasn't noticeable enough. Then my painter came up with the Furious Fuchsia idea. At first I kind of blew it off. I handed him a small plastic model car for him to test the paint on (which I still have today). When I got it back, I was very impressed. I decided that this was the color for me. He tweaked it a little (base coat: Silver) and came up with the more "pink" Furious Fuchsia After all is said and done, I am very happy with the paint color on my car. Along with the modifications and the custom paint job, the car can't help but to turn heads. From the Mach 1 hood to the 99-01 Cobra Front bumper, and even the hard wood flooring in the trunk, my car is my favorite mustang of all time (Only to be followed by @cervantes_281's Avalanche Grey New Edge, @mollysaleen's Molly Pop Saleen, @hellz_blizzard's Pink Mustang, @mrbunn's Yellow Blaze Mustang).
