It's amazing how many item people through over a bridge. From Newspaper Boxes to Shotguns (they may or may not have been used to murder someone! Yikes!). Many people had to stop and pull over when crossing the Dam in Great Falls. One man said that he has lived her for 60 years and this is the first time he has seen anything like it. Hidden treasures waited among the soaked mud that once was a fast flowing river. Looking out, you could see a couple of cinder blocks that had a rope tied to it, making you wonder about what could have been on the other end of that rope. There was a Shotgun that had noticeably been there for quite awhile. In the shallows, you saw the remains of a buggy. It makes you wonder if that was where the water stopped before the dam. There were hoses, building material, high beams, and other interesting artifacts that had to have a story to tell. Remains of History that we have forgotten. We do not know why they drained the dam but it was pretty amazing. Even with the freezing rain and cold wind. It was worth every second.
